ASHLEY Hutchings is a living legend in the world of folk music.
An early member of Fairport Convention in the late 1960s, he survived an appalling motorway crash to embark on a journey that has taken him ever deeper into the world of music. He founded Steeleye Span and the Albion Band, and has worked consistently with the best in the business. As well as Ashley the Rainbow Chasers’ feature three of the brightest new faces on the British music scene. These multi-talented singer-songwriters are Ruth Angell, on vocals, violin and guitar, Jo Hamilton, on vocals, viola, guitar and keyboard and Joe Topping on vocals and various stringed instruments. These are voices you will love to hear and who write songs that will last and that others will want to sing. Individually they deliver performances to remember but collectively with Ashley they become something else! The two girls create wonderful harmonies on violin and viola. With a repertoire that ranges from folk to classical, rock to Gypsy music they will make you remember them as one of the highlights of your musical lifetime - don't miss them!
