What can you tell about a man whose early CV includes half of a resident duo at the Bury Folk Club, playing the Sailor’s Hornpipe ‘on teeth and head’ for Kenny Everett and Germaine Greer, and whose first TV solo performance was of his first song “Our Bill and the Concrete Mixer” – probably many things but ‘different’ and ‘talented’ spring to mind.
The CV goes on to cover TV, Theatre, Song writing, Folk Clubs, Live Gigs, Soundtracks - many laced with Bernard’s special brand of humour.
He has toured with the Houghton Weavers, the Oldham Tinkers and supported Fairport Convention.
If you have seen him before then chances are you will want to come and see him again.
If you really haven’t seen Bernard - You won’t be disappointed!There are road works affecting Foljambe Road and the intersection of:-
West Street/Common Street,
Saltergate,
Foljambe Road,
Ashgate Road,
(i.e. the traffic lights next to the old Football Ground).
