Bill Whaley and Dave Fletcher plus Marie Little

Artists from Lincolnshire and Lancashire meet in a double-header concert to end our current season.

Well known throughout their native county of Lincolnshire and beyond, both for their high quality performances as a duo and as members of the Higgledy Piggledy band, Bill Whaley and Dave Fletcher present a fine blend of voices mellowed by nearly thirty years of singing together. Their selection of songs encompasses both ancient and modern accompanied in traditional style on English, duet and anglo-concertina, harmonium, and melodeon.

Marie Little, originally from Salford but now living in the North East, is an acclaimed performer, drawing her extensive repertoire from many genres, including Folk, Country and Music Hall. Her songs can be sad or thought-provoking one minute, and have you howling with laughter the next. She has a natural ability for knowing when to 'lift' her audience, and her warm personality and natural Northern wit add to her charm. This, combined with a tremendous talent, makes her an entertainer of the highest order, held in great affection by her fans.

Mobile Phone Usage

We respectfully draw the attention of our customers to our policy regarding mobile phones in the Library Theatre.  We don't know of anyone who leaves their phone ringtone active when at a concert!  However we would like to draw your attention to the general use of smartphones.  The bright screens can be as off putting for your fellow concert goers as a phone that rings so please avoid using your phone for any reason during a performance.
